Boston Matthews has over 50 years’ extruder manufacturing and polymer processing experience and fully understands the polymers and tube structures required within the automotive industry. These include Mono & Multi-Layer structures consisting of PA 6, PA 12, PVDF, EVOH, PA Adhesive.

Boston Matthews Extruders, Screw Design and Die Head (Tooling) has been developed using extensive experience (over 50 years) and the latest 3D & Polymer Flow Simulation Technology. This ensures the optimum processing performance for guaranteed quality and accuracy at all times.

Quick, easy change-over and non-complex die head clean down are undertaken by the operator for quick turn-around and eliminates the need for specialist skills or to return the die head to the manufacturer for cleaning.

To ensure the tubing is manufactured to the highest standards Boston Matthews incorporates the latest technology including Laser Diameter Measurement; Ultra Sonic Wall Measurement; and PLC SMART Control.

Using Boston Matthews SMART Control production data and quality can be recorded and exported for traceability. The ability to log production conditions and to export to various platforms such as Ethernet, SCADA, Excel, etc gives you and your customers the information you need when you need it.
