PEX & PB Pipe (HVAC)

Every element of the Boston Matthews Line has been specifically designed for high quality PEX & PB Pipe production. Extensive extrusion experience including screw and die head design combines with the latest Servo, PLC, & AC technologies to ensure that precision, control and accuracy is achieved throughout the manufacturing process consistently producing high quality, even walled, square cut pipe.

The method of "Crosslinking" can vary (PEX A, PEX B, PEX C) but in every case the extruded pipe must adhere to the highest possible standards.

Boston Matthews has extensive experience of multi-layer extrusion ensuring the layers are produced with correct thickness and ovality. Co-Extruders are easy to positon for exact alignment and small flow adapters further enhances tube quality.

Precision accuracy and consistency is found in every stage and process of the extrusion line.

Pipe Quality Management Systems have been incorporated to ensure that tube quality is constantly monitored and maintained providing: -

• Closed Loop Laser Diameter Control
• PLC Line Control
• Wall Thickness Monitoring
• Out of Tolerance Tube Rejection Systems – Loss in Weight; Lump Recognition; Diameter Measurement; etc

Using Boston Matthews SMART Control production data and quality can be recorded and exported for traceability. The ability to log production conditions and to export to various platforms such as Ethernet, SCADA, Excel, etc gives you and your customers the information you need when you need it.

Boston Matthews PEX or PB Extrusion Lines incorporate a powerful Servo Rotary Cutter and Pipe Winding System to ensure the finished PEX or PB Pipe is presented as required.
